The Railway is Winchester's only dedicated Live Music Venue. Winchester hasn't got a lot to offer after dark and that's where The Railway steps up. We've been here for years and The Railway has worked hard to generate and maintain it's national reputation as a great venue.

In recent years the Railway has undergone a complete refurb with structural and cosmectic changes in every space. The Railway has two venues, The Barn and The Attic. The downstairs bar is always free to enter and we sell tickets in advance for our shows from our Box Office behind the bar.

The Railway recieves no subsidy from our local authorities.

The Bar is open from 5pm every day. We offer free pool between 5pm and 7pm every day and all day on Sundays.

The Railway also has one of the largest covered gardens in Winchester.

The Railway is a responisble licenced premesis and we operate a challenge 25 policy on our Bars.
ID will be required for anyone who we believe looks under 25.
Friday and Saturday nights we are staffed by two SIA approved door staff and ID will be required for entry.
